With participation from 191 nations, Expo 2020 Dubai is the first World Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa or South Asia region. From October 2021 to March 2022, the participating nations celebrate their economic, scientific and industrial achievements with national pavilions, under this year’s theme of “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”.  New Zealand has a long history of participation in World Expos.
